FEES AND INSURANCE POLICY

My fees are comparable to those of other psychiatrists that are credentialed to work with children, adolescents, and adults in the Manhattan area. Please contact me to discuss the fee schedule.

I do not participate in any insurance plans and work as an out-of-network provider. I believe that this allows me to spend more of my time with each patient and focus on delivering high quality care and minimize non-essential paperwork.  

Most patients submit for reimbursements through their insurance plans. This means that you pay directly to the clinician and then file for reimbursement with your insurance company. It is often helpful to call your insurance company and ask them what your out-of-network coverage is as this varies between different insurance companies. Generally, insurance companies can reimburse 50-100% of the fees depending on the plan and whether a deductible has been met. I am happy to work with you in providing all of the documentation you need to submit to your insurance company so you can be reimbursed for “out of network” coverage.  

Full payment is expected at the time of service, unless we have made other arrangements. The office accepts cash, checks, or credit card as payment for medical services.
